Dirt 2 explores various deciplanes of off-road racing. Dirt 2 released in 2007 and reinvigorated rally racing on consoles. The sequel hopes to up the ante with a brand new career mode and true multiplayer.
The first part of Dirt had a standard career path with an amazing menu presentation and the multiplayer but did not allow for any direct competition on the same track. All that has changed.
