TUROK game play is pretty standard for a first-person shooter. The controls are locked and there is no southpaw option.
The default sensitivity also seems a little high. Add to that a little muzzle climb and aiming can be difficult.

Luckily, you can adjust sensitivity but if you find the graphics a bit dark in caves you are out of luck; there is no gamma adjustment.Although it’s nothing new, I still found this game to be fun. Killing dinosaurs never got old and the game was challenging.

The weapons were nice, most of the environments were impressive and there were definitely some “wow” moments.

Need for Speed Carbon

Need for Speed Carbon, which downplays the role of the police chases, introduces some simple team-racing mechanics, and occasionally takes the action off the city streets and into the outlying canyons. The new gameplay doesn't always improve the experience, but the racing can still be quite intense and still has a pronounced sense of style.

At the start of Carbon, you're making your way to Palmont City when Cross, now a bounty hunter, catches up with you and totals your car during the chase. Before he can collect his bounty on you, though, your old friend Darius steps in and pays off Cross. You are then put to work, taking over the turf of the other rival street-racing crews in Palmont City.

The heavy use of flashbacks is an interesting idea, but the story ends up being kind of muddled. None of the villains come off as particularly menacing. Although it's hard to really qualify any of it as sincerely good, it's just over-the-top enough that folks who enjoy stuff like The Fast and the Furious, ironically or otherwise, should get some enjoyment out of it.

Virtual Cop 2 has the same premise as the original, with level design faithful to the arcade. You know the drill: As a cop the player blasts his way out of various crime scenes (titled "The Chase," "Save the Mayor," and "Railway Shoot-out") while the bad guys shoot, drop, and attack with great realism and detail.

Advancing through a scene, "police work" is complicated by innocent bystanders, who pop up along the way. Nail them and lose points. Among the new features are multiple routes in each level. Counting all the course variations, VC2 is easily twice as long as the original.

There is also a killer driving sequence that involves shooting at enemies from a police car. It's quite an adrenaline rush to hear the siren while in hot pursuit, picking off enemies on motorcycles.
